Today’s RouteHero* is Let Me Run! Let me Run is a nonprofit wellness program for young boys and in 2019 they are celebrating their 10th anniversary! Ashley Armistead, a Girls on the Run coach in the 90’s, founded the program in Charlotte, NC to "prepare boys for the long run". She wanted to offer a safe space where her two sons could “be themselves, express their fears and dreams, and feel the power of being connected to others through positive, healthy communication.” We were very impressed to hear that they’ve had over 23,500 boys complete their twice yearly sessions.
