Thank you 719 Ride for using RouteArrows! We always love to see the amazing route mark crews, so please feel free to share your behind-the-scenes photos with us! Notice the RouteArrow tips are folded under for easier post-event removal, excellent! This is also a good opportunity to point out a key route marking tip, especially for cycling events. When marking a route, we recommend placing all “pre-turn” RouteArrows at a 45 degree angle, either left or right, but not at 90 degrees. This includes the arrow right at the turn! Why, you ask? RouteArrows are highly visible and are easily seen by cyclists going 20 mph!People rarely walk that fast, so they’ll work great for guiding pedestrians too. Markets can quickly create both flow patterns and social distanced checkout lines whenever and wherever needed! We believe the colorful 1ft long RouteArrows will work wonderfully, because pedestrians will easily understand the “point”! 😉☝️ However if you want to use an extra-large arrow to really grab attention at the entrance or exit zones, here is how to create a bigger arrow using 4 RouteArrows placed together. Hello RouteArrows Family, Some of you may know, my daughter Roslyn and I are running our small family business together - but remotely (even before it was cool) with Roslyn up in WA and me here in CA. Since then we’ve been contacting as many markets and associations as we can, and we made this “corny” little acronym to help display...

RouteArrows were originally designed to guide cyclists on events so they will navigate the correct turns on their chosen route, as many events have 3 or more route options. They are also designed to be highly visible and very distinct, to grab the rider’s attention even at fast speeds. What we’ve learned over the last 13 years is that no matter the event, participants feel safe and comforted when their directions are clear and concise. This same value is very applicable here. When people feel stress, whether athletic or emotional, giving clear and obvious directions brings comfort and security. The...

A Registration / Check-in Table Sign will help inform your participants of the RouteArrow color they will be following, right before they head out on their ride! You can use materials like cardboard, FoamCore etc, but a black background makes the bright arrow colors POP! The sign in the photos is 16” wide x 24” tall. (I used an XL Blank Sign, available in our store.) How to make the sign: Place the arrows 1.5 - 2” apart vertically, centered on the sign, L to R. Place arrows in a pattern: i.e. longest route on top, descending lengths, or the...
